Abstract: The right to live in a healthy and sustainable environment is the most important human right in the 21st century. On October 8, 2021, the United Nations Human Rights Council declared the right to live in a healthy and sustainable environment as a human right. Thus, after 30 years of debate, the right to live in a healthy and sustainable environment is officially recognized as a human right with universal value. The article analyzes some aspects of the human right to live in a healthy and sustainable environment.
